The attorney acting as a mandataire in personal and professional real estate transactions is an activity falling within the professional scope of the legal profession (Article 6 of the National Internal Regulations of the profession). « [The Attorney] may receive a mandate to negotiate, act, and sign on behalf of and for the account of the client. » In accordance with Article 6.4 of the Internal Regulations, an attorney who intends to carry out the activity of a mandataire in real estate transactions must declare it to the Bar Association.
